We are very excited to welcome massage therapist, Angel Lazu to the team at Backcountry Spine and Sport!

Angel has many years of experience working as an athletic trainer with a variety of different athletes. In 2016, he graduated with his bachelors  in Athletic Training from Penn State. Following this, he began working on his master's in Athletic Training at the University of Kentucky. While there, he worked as an athletic trainer for the school's baseball team, completing his degree in 2018. Since then, Angel has worked as a trainer in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and for other NCAA teams. Most recently, Angel completed his massage therapy degree at the Integrative Bodyworks School of Massage here in State College.

Angel has a great deal of real world experience from working as an athletic trainer and holds additional certification in Level 1 Lymphatic Drainage. Angel is also bilingual and is fluent in Spanish and English.
